While the WorldMax 14 x 6.5" Hammered Brass Shell may look extreme, it certainly doesn't cost an extreme amount of money. Its battered shell makes it look like its been used before and only recently dug up but nothing could be further from the truth! It actually sounds brand new and has that warm, characteristic brass tone with plenty of volume and presence. Besides simply looking good, the dry tonal edge created by the hammering patterna also helps to bring out the nuance of ghost notes a little better.

14x6.5 inch Hammered Brass Shell Hardware

All of the hardware fitted to this 14x6.5-inch Hammered Brass Shell has been chrome-plated to offer a modern look. The triple-flanged hoops have been secured via ten bolts for a more transparent sound while the included Remo skins can be easily tuned using the tuning key that comes with this snare. Also included is the twenty-string snare wire, which has been attached to the S-9X strainer with cords.
